3 years agoIs there any way to create a custom template to save and use for new records?
I used to use passwordsaver (years ago). They allowed us to create an ENTIRELY new template and customize it with whatever fields, names etc. and save it in the system for future use. Does 1password offer this? All I see is an option to 'edit' and existing record and add fields. I want to have this 'new' template come up as an option to use under all their 'standard' template options.

1Password Team
Hi @Shopchops
We do have a custom template feature in beta. 😃 I couldn't say when that'll roll out to everyone, but it is a use case that we're aware of and our product team is evaluating. If you have a 1Password Business account and would like to try it out, navigate to https://start.1password.com/settings/beta and enable the beta features checkbox. Then you can create and manage templates at https://start.1password.com/templates/
If you're not using 1Password Business, or would rather not beta test, you may want to consider using customized Secure Notes for this purpose. You can read more about our suggestions around that, here:
I hope that helps!
