Is this safe? Chrome wants full access to my 1Password data

I noticed that apparently I don't have the 1Password extension in Chrome (even though autofilling works on websites). So I went into the 1Password settings and clicked on "Add browser" and selected Chrome and this message popped up:

Is this correct? Do I really need to give Chrome full access to all my data?

1Password Version: 8.10.44
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: macOS 14.6.1
Browser: Chrome

I see, thanks! I thought, I'd have more functionality if I added it. Will leave things as is.

Hello, danito. Thank you for writing in.

Google Chrome is already a supported browser. The Trusted Browser feature in the 1Password desktop app Browser section is for unsupported browsers. Therefore, it's unnecessary to add Chrome, Brave, Edge, Firefox or Safari as trusted browsers because they are already supported. By default, Google Chrome should communicate with the 1Password desktop app.
