3 years agoLaunchbar conflict at startup
At start-up, I keep getting an error related to LaunchBar. "Enable 3rd party app integrations" in 1Password Preferences>Advanced. I do not see that as an option any longer. Was this option removed from 1Password and the developer of LaunchBar hasn't caught up?

@Ptujec Thank you very much for your hard work on creating this LaunchBar action. For me at least, it makes 1P8 useable. I also want to give the 1P team kudos for making it possible in the first place with 1Password CLI. Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing your efforts with the community! I’m sure that a lot of folks who are fans of both LaunchBar and 1Password will find what you’ve created useful. As always, I urge everyone to use caution when using unofficial integrations with 1Password as they haven’t been thoroughly reviewed, tested, or audited by our team and are not supported.

On behalf of Tommy, you're very welcome. Let us know if LaunchBar support is able to clarify if there's any other settings that may need to be disabled to avoid the pop-up.

Thanks. I will reach out to the developer for LaunchBar. I did do the system upgrade and I DID follow your advice and tweak the preferences of LaunchBar to avoid indexing 1Password. After all that, I got the same warning after the restart. Some level of incompatibility with LaunchBar

Short answer, you hit the nail on the head. The previously used method is not available. I would suggest reaching out to them. LaunchBar Help Center - Contact Us.
This may prove helpful to disable indexing and stop the message.
To disable 1Password indexing, start LaunchBar from Applications, then select Index > Show Index in the menu bar. Scroll to Third Party Apps in the index sidebar, then right click on 1Password, and select Disable. This will prevent LaunchBar from attempting to index 1Password, preventing the notification.

Also, you indicated 12.5 is in use. I would highly recommend updating as soon as possible.
