Mac Firefox 1Password 8 Extension No Longer Works with Private Browsing and Removing History
A few days ago, I upgraded 1Password on my Mac to version 8.8. When I installed the Firefox extension, it complained saying [You'll need to turn off "Never Remember History" and "Always Use Private ...
My wife just ran into this after upgrading to 8.8. I will stay on 1Password7 until this is resolved.
This is a very poor implementation that does not consider your customer's privacy and security preferences. Explaining it is not sufficient - it HAS to change back to the way it worked until now. If not, we will find another password manager, which would be a shame after using 1Password for many years. But the current implementation is simply not acceptable, explanations or no.
