macOS QR code scanning missing

Now since version 8 the login got much more difficult. So you can't scan the QR code anymore and you also cannot login though the browser which is pretty bad. Now I need to type everything manua...

I'm sorry you're running into issues here. Expanding the "Can't find your account details?" section will allow you to import your Emergency Kit from your computer, or scan the setup code using the camera on your device:

Additionally, you can also choose to sign in using 1Password.com. Let me know how that goes!
