MacOS Safari desktop extension goes into endless login loop

Recently, I've been unable to unlock 1Password from the MacOS Safari browser extension. Attempting to do so causes 1P to go into an endless loop of prompting me to log in, even after the correct mast...

Hi craven,

According to your description, it seems to be a known issue that the 1Password desktop app cannot run properly in the background if the app icon is not pinned in the top menu bar.

Therefore, can you open the 1Password desktop app Settings > General, and check if the Keep 1Password in the menu bar option is selected:
