Microsoft Edge and Paycom employee login pin/ssn field
Hello,
I am using microsoft edge v144 on windows 11. And I have seen similar posts about paycom and microsoft edge from three or two years ago.
However, the process of manually saving the login for this website does not always show all three fields as fillable. I am not confident if the glitch is with the order in which the fields are filled, or whether you use copy and paste. But I was royally frustrated with the process.
Here are some screenshots showing the three fields filled in but the 1password dialog only showing two fields.
I think this might be something you should look into. I was however able to get the three fields to get populated by using "username", "######" and "pin" for one of my attempts and then went on to edit the values with the ones I actually want to use. But I cannot for the life of me actually reproduce that expected behavior deliberately.

I can confirm the same issue on Chrome. You cannot save a password and PIN field even after adding it with the name "userpin" or "userpinid" for the new field.

Hi estruxton, thanks for letting us know you're running into this on Chrome.
I've looked into this issue on my end, and it seems as if the PIN field won't fill correctly as soon as the default password field for the item has any data in it.
I was able to use the steps below to get a login item to fill all three fields reliably:
- Edit your Paycom login item in 1Password.
- Remove your password from the default password field.
- Click + add more, and select password.
- Input your password, and edit the label for the field to name it: txtpass
- Click + add more, and select password again.
- Input your SSN/PIN, and edit the label for the field to name it: userpinid
- Save the login item.
- Refresh the Paycom webpage, and try to fill the login.
Let me know if this helps!

This worked for me. Thanks!

Hi yashrg,
To make sure I'm understanding correctly, it seems like there are two different (likely related) issues at play here.
The first issue is that when you enter your details on the Paycom website, the extension is only prompting to save the username and password fields, and not the PIN.
The second issue is that when you've manually added the PIN field to your item, you're unable to (or at least inconsistently able to) get all three fields to fill.
Could you confirm if my understanding is correct? Additionally, have you been able to reproduce the behaviour in any other web browser, or is it specific to Edge? Looking forward to your reply!

Your understanding of the two issues is correct. I am not a frequent user of Chrome so I can't be certain the issue didn't happen on Chrome.
However, due to the inconsistency with which the three fields would fill, I followed the directions in 1p_Gem's post above and using the label txtpass for the user added password field and not having the password in the default password field seems to have resolved the issue for now in Edge and Chrome.
