Microsoft login - not auto selecting/filtering to entered email/account
Hi there,
Simple issue.
I am forever having to choose my item in 1Password, rather than 1Password filtering the password for the already selected email/account.
It's a pain in the butt as 1Password also doesn't order items on the account/email alphabetically and the one I login to the most is at the bottom of the list.
See attached.
Expected behaviour:
Like with Google and other authentication flows, I've selected my username/account in the first section asking for email, therefore it should only suggest the item with that as the email in the username.
Unexpected behaviour:
It shows ALL microsoft login items for that domain.
1Password Version: 1Password for Mac 8.10.54 (81054022)
Extension Version: 8.10.55.2
OS Version: 15.1.1 (24B2091)
Browser: Chrome

Yes, it should work and start to search by just starting to type...but our experience is that it just keeps the list 'as is' instead of searching for a match. Being a MSP with hundreds of customer Tenants, you can imagine how many 'hits' I get for login to i.e. https://admin.microsoft.com/
...This bug / "feature" is annoying to say the least...
Workaround is to hit Escape key, wait a few seconds and then start to type before it does a actual search based on your input... - 1P_David

As my colleague Evon mentioned, the 1Password suggestions rely on URL matching, which is why you're seeing all those suggestions. In order to work around this, you can filter the list of suggestions by beginning to type the username used for the Login item you want to use to sign in.
Let me know if that works for you!

I experience this exact same scenario and i have to agree with DrewB this is extremely frustrating and quiet frankly seems pretty basic for a platform of this magnitude. Please consider adding this very useful functionality.

Here's the flow in action, just now.
Page after policy kicks in:
Next page:
Once I've unlocked 1Password I get every item that matches the Microsoft login domain of login.microsoftonline.com - not just the one for the account trying to sign in.

The issue I have is that this prompt is happening not in the flow you’ve shown.
This prompt I’ve shown happens in a time out state, such as I need to re-login.
It’s really annoying, and to the point the policies at this company are relogin every 2 hours.
Lastpass doesn’t have this issue.

Hello, DrewB. Thank you for writing in.
This is expected behaviour. The username and password are "linked" during an autofill session, but this does not extend to the suggestion menu in the input field. The 1Password suggestion list relies on URL matching. I've attached a short GIF demonstrating this.
Is the password not auto-filling after you've selected the correct Login item in the email/username field?
