Missing Login
I just created a login for a website titled "mytrueidenity.com" But I can not find the login in my 1P list of logins - it is not listed under the letter M or anywhere else. But yet, if I go to the ...

Hi BenBob! Thanks for writing in. I'm sorry for the trouble locating your new item.
My first suspicion here would be that the item was saved to a vault or account that's different than the one being searched. Another possibility could be a sync delay or error.
I'd like to ask a few questions to help investigate further:
- How did you save the item? For example was it saved with 1Password in the browser, or in one of the 1Password apps?
- Did you search for the item in the extension, in a 1Password app, or on 1Password.com?
- Are you using multiple 1Password accounts?
- If you haven't searched there previously, can you find the item in your account on 1Password.com (Home > All Vaults)?
I was going to attach a screenshot but I see no way to do so - where did that function go?
You can add a screenshot to a post or reply with the "Insert Media" button (camera icon). I've included an example below.
Thanks again!

Update: Its happened again-created a new login and it did not show in my vault until the next day. I try creating a diagnostic report. However - can you give me guidance on how to figure out if I am am using the app or the extension? Stupid question I imagine but I'm not sure - this is on my MacBook Air.
Thanks
Ben

3 months agoThanks for following up BenBob. I'm sorry to hear you're seeing this issue again.
Definitely a reasonable question! If you're working in your browser, you're probably looking at the 1Password extension. If there's a separate app open on your desktop, that would be 1Password for Mac. To open 1Password for Mac you can click the 1Password icon in your menu bar, or open it from the applications folder. 1Password for Mac will look similar to the image below:
Here's that link to our diagnostics guide again for your reference. You can attach the diagnostics file to a message sent to support@1password.com. With your message include a link to this thread, and your Community username (below). Let us know if we can help with anything, and thanks again.
