More 1Password 8 Garbage....

More things to complain about:

  1. Item counts are missing.
  2. I have two vaults, but cannot find a way to VIEW ONLY ONE OF THEM LIKE BEFORE! - well I found it by clicking on it. Didn't 7 have a means of making one the DEFAULT?

How do I downgrade to version 7?

I'm seriously pissed.

    Hello. The app use to display an item count for each category. That was good to have when performing maintenance or other tasks on the items in those categories. This count was visible at a glance and did not require having to go fishing anywhere to get the counts.

    Hey dwmreg:

    You can view the number of items in a vault or category in two places:

    • The sort options dropdown
    • The bottom of the list view

    In regard to the ability to select a default vault, we currently have an open feature request in our internal tracker. I've submitted a proxy vote on your behalf.

    We generally do not recommend to revert back to 1Password 7 as it will not longer receive any future updates, but if you'd like to, here are the steps:

    1. Quit all open web browsers.
    2. Make sure 1Password 8 is completely closed (not in the menu bar).
    3. Drag 1Password from the Applications folder to the Trash. Do not use an "app cleaner" or "uninstaller" tool to remove the app or additional files. If prompted, enter the password you use to sign in to your Mac.
    4. Download 1Password 7 for Mac from the 1Password website.
