Native Password AutoFill Extension macOS
So one of the people in my family subscription for 1P relies heavily on iCloud Keychain. The nice piece about using the native autofill extension is entries from both show up together in-line. This h...

Hello folks,
The macOS AutoFill feature is now being explored in the nightly version of 1Password! If you're using a nightly build, you'll see 1Password appear as an option for macOS AutoFill.
Since nightly builds are early previews of what we're working on, this feature is still a work in progress and isn't documented. You might notice a few rough edges or areas that aren't fully implemented just yet. Our team is actively refining the experience and working through known issues as we move forward.
We're excited about where this is headed and will share more updates, and a full announcement, down the line. In the meantime, if you have questions or spot anything unexpected while using the nightly version, we'd love to hear from you!

Hi there 1PW team. Please could we have some indication here about whether or not the "2nd attempt of native MacOS autofill" that you alluded to in the last AMA is heading in a positive or negative direction?
All of us in this chat really would love this feature (as many of us have said many many times) so a small progress update / state of play update would be appreciated.
Thanks

Today I discovered that Bitwarden is implementing native auto-fill system integration for macOS. They are using an additional extension written in Swift to achieve system integration and communicate with the Electron client via IPC to exchange data. I think this should be very valuable for your development team as a reference.

This statement is very frustrating.
You say exactly the same thing about Liquid Glass for iOS/iPadOS and macOS, but customers have no visibility on short/medium/long-term support, or even ever...
I would like more transparency from you.
