nest tags after creation?
Is there a way to nest an existing tag (within an existing parent tag)? I.e. I tagged everything without nesting then realized I have toooo many tags and my sidepane view is overwhelmed. Now I'd like to nest some of them within others to simplify. Or create new overall parent tags to add them to. BUT I don't want to have to delete and recreate a million tags. Any way to do this cleanly? I've seen some other posts about organizing tags in bulk but not quite this situation

Hi 1Penthuiast!
You can nest an already created tag by right clicking on the tag in the sidebar and choosing to Rename Tag, then adding the name of your chosen parent tag to the start of the name, followed by a
/
. This works even if the parent tag doesn't already exist, as the process will create it if an existing tag isn't found with that name.As an example, renaming a tag named
nest
toparent/nest
would nest it under theparent
tag.I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions, let us know!
