New install opens up both 8 and 7.

I have installed Beta 8. Before installing it I had completely logged out of 1Password 7. Now after successful install when Beta 8 stars along with it 1PW 7 also starts. Why that should happen? It...

Hi folks! Sorry to learn you encountered this issue Abhijit.

While I'm not sure of the specifics on why both would launch under this scenario (there are a couple possibilities that come to mind off-hand), I can confirm that it's because of the parallel installation of 1Password 7 and 8 on the same user account on the same device.

The fix is to uninstall 1Password 7, as DenalB suggested - and we'll take a look at what we can do from our end to avoid this scenario in the future.
