New Item from Quick Access?

I’m still feeling my way around 1P8, after getting used to one way of doing things for many years.

My current issue is—it’s great that I can autofill passwords in apps, but how do I create a new item while in an app? Even if it doesn’t recognize the info I’ve put in as it does on Web pages, there should be a button somewhere in Quick Access that allows me to create a new password entry associated with the frontmost app. But I can’t find it, if it’s there.

    Hello Calion! 👋

    It's not currently possible to use Quick Access (or Universal Autofill) to create a new item. That being said, that would be a good feature to have and I've passed along your request to our Product team.

    For now, you'll need to open the main 1Password app to create a new Login Item for the app in question.
