New Master Password is not working in app.

Hey all. As the family organizer of my Families Plan I helped my father reset his Master Password and it works if he log in on http://my.1password.com but in the app on his Mac or in the browser (Firefox 99.0.1) extension he can't login. What should we do? Re-install the app and extension?
