As a beta tester on iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, VisionPro OS – this has been incredibly annoying every few minutes, times 4 devices.
However, I felt compelled to login in to defend the 1Password team here a bit:
People, you do realise you are running beta software right? The sole purpose of which is to test software bugs before it reaches a final public release. And not only have you voluntarily signed up to test Apple's OSs, but every piece of software's interaction with it – in and out of Apple. No one has guaranteed you a smooth ride here nor are they obligated to.
To extend an analogy attempted above:
Imagine you drove a car out of the manufacturer before it's was fully assembled, then called them back after driving for a bit and complained: Why did the turn indicator fall off when I jiggled it sideways and the car keeps telling me to put my seatbelt on even when I've had it on the entire time??
If you're not prepared to be patient and helpful with this process, you're not prepared to be a beta tester. Restore your device to the last stable release and move on with your life.
Apart from fixing the bug, I do like the other permanent suggestion of adding a toggle to manually opt out of any future welcome screens.
