1Password for Safari's keyboard focus doesn't get set properly for the filling prompt
- 2 months ago
Thanks for following up. Our team has investigated and have concluded that this is due to a limitation in Safari, unfortunately the previous workaround that we were relying on to focus the inline menu no longer works. Other browsers like Chrome and Firefox are not affected.
We've filed feedback with Apple and hopefully improvements will be made in a future update.

Hello @BasilFawlty! 👋
I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to Open and Fill on your new Mac. Do you see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar? If you do then please try these steps:
- Close all open web browsers.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon at the top of your Mac's screen and then click Quit 1Password Completely. Wait until the icon disappears.
- Double-click on 1Password 7 from your Mac's Application folder.
- Open your web browser.
Let me know if that fixes the issue. :)
is it possible to download or install the latest v7 ios app?
Hello ryanh292! 👋
Thank you for reaching out! 1Password 7 for iOS is no longer supported and I recommend that you use 1Password 8 for iOS instead. You can download 1Password 8 from the Apple App Store: Download 1Password 8
If you've previously used 1Password 7 on your device, you might be able to download it from your purchase history:
- Open the App Store app.
- Tap the sign-in button or your photo at the top of the screen.
- Tap Apps.
- If you use Family Sharing, tap My Apps or choose a family member's name to see content that they purchased.
- Tap "Not on this [device]."
- Find 1Password 7, then tap the download button.
