Password Autofills

I don't understand why the pw for logging in is automatically filled in. Doesn't this entirely defeat the purpose? New user. Macbook Air. Sonoma 14.1 Chrome 1Password Version: Not Provided ...

Can you tell me a little more about the issue you're experiencing with 1Password? Are you experiencing an issue with autofill on a specific website? Do you have the https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/#browsers installed in Chrome?
