Passwords not updating iOS
I changed passwords in two apps (one at a time) on my iPhone and manually updated them in the 1Password app because I wasn’t prompted to autosave. In both cases, autofill still filled the old passwor...

5 months agoHi vsokolovsky thanks for flagging this, and for joining the community!
My first thought here would be that the 1Password app may have hit a snag while syncing, and that the restart forced a resync. Could you confirm where you initially updated the passwords? In 1Password for iOS, or another 1Password app?
If you run into this behavior again, I'd also like to ask you to sign into your account on 1Password.com, then check if you see the old or new password there. Thanks again!

Hello 1P_Timothy , I have a very similar issue here.
I created a new account and added it to my 1Password Edge extension. I can see this new account got updated immediately on the 1Password Edge extension, Windows application, and iOS application. However, this new account did not show up in iOS's autofill. But since the account was updated in my iOS app, it showed up above my keypad. When I tapped on it to autofill, it got stuck on a white screen because the autofill did not have this account (Looks like the app and auto are using different databases. If the account is in the app, then it will show up above the keypad. But when trying to autofill, the data comes from the autofill database, not the app database).
I waited for about 8 hours, but the autofill still hasn't been updated. I have to either manually copy the password from my 1Password iOS app, or restart my phone to force it to update.

I'm sorry that you're not seeing updated data being suggested by AutoFill on your iOS device. Try these steps to reset the AutoFill database:
- On the Home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap General > AutoFill & Passwords.
- Turn off 1Password.
- Turn 1Password back on.
- Make sure that all other password managers are turned off.
Then try to fill a login again, are you still seeing the same outdated login credentials being suggested or filled?-Dave

I’m having a similar issue as being discussed here. I tried the steps above and it my old password is still being autofilled. The new password is visible in 1Password but when I go to an app, click on the username box, and then select the key symbol on the iOS keyboard and look at the recommended logins from 1P, if I click on the little i symbol it shows the old password information and last updated time/date for my old password.

reaper-17 I've run into issues like this on Mac. A work-around has been to manually lock the app that isn't receiving the new data. After unlocking, the data has synced.

This works if I want to update the password in the app. But the problem is that the password used for autofill in iOS does not directly come from the 1Password app.
