I changed passwords in two apps (one at a time) on my iPhone and manually updated them in the 1Password app because I wasn’t prompted to autosave. In both cases, autofill still filled the old passwor...

reaper-17 I've run into issues like this on Mac. A work-around has been to manually lock the app that isn't receiving the new data. After unlocking, the data has synced.

This works if I want to update the password in the app. But the problem is that the password used for autofill in iOS does not directly come from the 1Password app.

It's worked for me in both directions, I just run into it more often on Mac with the autofill not updating in the browser autofill. Sometimes it's in the reverse direction and the Mac app doesn't update.
If I'm understanding you correctly, it's 1Password extension Edge > Cloud > 1Password Apps > 1Password Safari extension (autofill). If so, lock the 1Password Safari iPhone extension from the hamburger menu where the password generator is. Then tap the button in the form's password input field and unlock with Face ID. Now see if autofill is updated via the extension (for me it pops up as soon as I refresh).
I tried to test for you now, but everything is syncing for me (from Chrome 1Password extension to Safari iOS autofill) now.
I requested support for the same issue before seeing r/1Password suggest this.- reaper-171 year agoNew Contributor
I tried to lock and unlock my 1Password app on my iPhone. It did get updated in the app. But when I tried to use autofill, the password was still the old one.
Restarting the phone can force it to update all passwords. Or change the information in the autofill and save can force it to update that password (not others)

Just in case, (hopefully Dave's advice fixes it), I mean https://support.1password.com/getting-started-safari-ios/#lock-1password.
