PayPal Passkey creation impossible

After I easily stored a passkey from Amazon in 1Password, I wanted to create one at PayPal. Unfortunately this is impossible, the PayPal page gives the error "No passkey can be created on this device or browser" and refers to FAQ.

Tested on macOS 14.0 with Safari 17.0, Chrome 117.0.5938.149 and Firefox 118.0.1 (arm64 architecture). Actually it can't be, with exactly the same system configuration 5 minutes before everything worked as said at Amazon.

    @makelifearide

    Try with a mobile device. I needed to create mine there. That page is from Paypal indicating that they do not support the device you are attempting to use. At present it is a limitation they impose.
