Performance issue with 1Password on the Mac

I have to agree. 1Password has become noticeably slow on my MacBook in recent memory, say the past 6 months. Running on M2 MacBook Air, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Safari Version 17.6, 1Password for Mac 8.10.44 (81044034). It is slow to open with Touch ID. It jitters when displaying items in the browser when invoked with ⌘\ . I also will take a look at Apple's new Password app for functionality and operability.
