QR Code for Master Password

Thanks for the feedback! The team is working on passkey unlock for 1Password which will allow you to unlock 1Password using a passkey rather than a password. Like with other passkeys, this should allow you to unlock 1Password using a passkey on your iPhone by scanning a QR code on your Windows PC.

Passkey unlock for 1Password is currently in a private beta and we hope to share more in the future: Private Beta: Create a 1Password Account with a Passkey

But on my Windows PC I have to enter it manually everyday (or more than once a day if I leave the office for lunch or if I accidentally close Google Chrome and therefore 1password extension). Even having Windows Hello facial or biometric recognition, the procedure is the same (the master password is mandatory every time).

This doesn't sound right and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Is this a new problem or something that you've been running into since you started using 1Password on your Windows PC? You mentioned Windows Hello, have you also enabled it for 1Password itself: Use Windows Hello to unlock 1Password on your Windows PC
