XIII That's really odd about the sound, I'm also not hearing it (with the main window opened or closed). Which version of macOS are you running?

Looks like Travis answered you in another thread about the current state of Quick Access, but for anyone else reading along, Quick Access is very early days and will have a bunch of improvements coming its way in the near future (including to clearing search results) :)
