2 years agoReinstall after using nightly build
Hi,
I was using the nightly build for a while but want to go back to production. I had uninstalled 1password and went to reinstall, but i get the error. 'You've used a newer version of 1Password on this device, update to the latest version to keep using 1password.'
How can i either re-download the nightyl version or clear things off to get back to the prodcution version?

Hi @jimb842,
Sorry for the delay. Thanks for your message and update here. Glad to hear you were able to resolve this!
For those tuning in, we have some instructions here for resetting the 1Password app on a specific device if you'd like to return to a Production version of 1Password immediately.
Otherwise, you can follow this guide to Use 1Password beta releases, and set the release channel back to Production and 1Password will update to the latest stable version when it's version number surpasses that of the Beta or Nightly version you were using.

solved this by myself. Putting solution in here in case anyone else needs it.
1password installs in your app data folder c:\users<username>\appdata\roaming AND c:\users<username>\appdata\local.
uninstalling only removes the data in appdata\roaming. renaming or deleting the folder in \local let me reinstall the prod version.
