3 years agoSafari, Chrome etc. Extension 2.14.0 Broken - Edited title.
I just updated the Safari extension to version 2.14.0 and now the extension no longer works. If I try and use the extension, nothing happens. If I click on the 1Password icon in the Safari toolbar, I get "Oops, something went wrong while loading."
I have tried reloading 1Password, but that doesn't help. I have tried rebooting the computer but that doesn't help. I only have one copy of 1Password running (version 8.10.9) and I am running the latest version of macOS (version 13.5).
I have to say, there has been a noticeable increase in issues since version 8 was released. Very disappointing.
1Password Version: 8.10.9
Extension Version: 2.14.0
OS Version: 13.5
Browser: Safari

I'm not (I'm on 13.5.1), but I did a bunch of poking around and the behaviour only happens in the Safari Technology Preview, currently on v177. :) Regular Safari is working fine. 👍🏻

Are you using Sonoma?

It seems to be fixed with extension 2.15.0

2.14.2: still same issue :(
Disconnecting it from the app seems to work, but saving passkeys is then completely broken: When trying to save a passkey on AWS Console, I get a "Save passkey" pop-over, but nothing more happens. (See attached screenshot)

I downgraded from the beta 2.14.2 because it was still broken to 2.14.1 in the App Store and while the extension is working again, there's no Touch ID option anymore, I can only type my password in. (Also the eyeball icon to show the password doesn't do anything.)

All good also here with 2.14.1 (on Chrome). Thanks!

I have extension 2.14.2 (via TestFlight), and it's broken in Safari.
