Safari extension doesn't work on Safari Technology Preview

A year has passed and nothing has changed. No doubt the issue is being properly addressed by the team.  "Thank You, Your Submission Is Very Important To Us!" MBP M3 Sequoia

    Sorry, I have to apologize.

    The extension works as expected when Safari TP is set to be a default browser in system settings.

Welcome to the community! I've split your post into a new thread since the issue being discussed in the old thread that you posted in was resolved in March 2024 with the release of Safari Technology Preview version 190. 

I'm sorry that you're running into issues, can you tell me a little more about what specifically isn't working on your Mac? Is 1Password not working when you try to access it from Safari Technology Preview? Do you see any error messages? I've tested 1Password for Safari version 8.12.0 in Safari Technology Preview 236 and everything seems to be working on my end. Are you using the same versions?
