Searching by tags in individual vault

You actually can search within a vault directly by pressing Command-F (on Mac) while a vault is selected. That will prefix your search with something like =vault:Shared.

But I noticed that if I then try to search for a tag, the tag itself is selected in the sidebar, negating the vault search. If I don't select the tag but hit Command-Enter to show all search results, that will produce a vault search, but it isn't guaranteed to be limited to a given tag. Your search term could show up in other places like titles or notes.

This can probably be improved (like maybe being able to search for =vault:Shared =tag:house1), and I'll raise it with the team to see what others think.

At your suggestion, I put the vault I am trying to search within into a collection by itself and I was then able to search via tags. For clarity, I have a vault set up called Appliances and within that vault I have all the info of all appliances from two different houses. My intention was to go into the Appliance vault and pick the house I wanted to find the appliance in by selecting the corresponding house tag. But, when I tried this yesterday, after selecting the tag, it then showed me every entry with that tag from all 7 vaults. I hope that makes a little more sense.

Wold a collection work for you? This is what I tried on my end. It worked for me. Perhaps you are working from a different angle; if so, please let me know more. I was also using the main app and not quick access.
