Severe performance issues in AngularJS web app with 1Password extension on Chrome
Since early October, our internal users have been experiencing significant slowdowns when using our admin web app (built with AngularJS 1.x) on Google Chrome.
The performance issue is especially noticeable when interacting with input fields. Typing, selecting, or focusing elements causes major lag.
Interestingly, the problem does not occur in Microsoft Edge, which suggests it might be related to the 1Password browser extension specifically on Chrome.
Has anyone else noticed similar behavior or found a workaround?
Thank you for confirming that the fix in the nightly resolved the issue. The fix has now been released to the stable version as well (8.11.16).

Hello Coutinho! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing performance issue when using 1Password in Chrome. Our team is currently working on a fix for certain performance issues that have been reported to us. We're currently testing the fix in the nightly version of 1Password for Chrome (8.11.18.12 or later).
Would you be able to have your affected users test the nightly to confirm that it fixes the issue: 1Password Nightly - Password Manager - Chrome Web Store
If it doesn't help then let me know and I can help further.

Hi Dave.
Thank you for your response. I tried the Nightly version (v8.11.18.21), and the performance issue is no longer occurring.
It seems to have fixed the problem. I’ll continue using this version until the update is rolled out to the stable channel.
Thanks again for your help!
Best,
Coutinho.
