Hi. iMac constant fan and overheating after upgrading to macOS Sonoma . My only 3rd Party Apps are 1Password and 1Password Safari extension. Does 1Password (Working in background) can cause...

1Password for Safari is separate from the desktop app. You can temporarily turn it off in Safari's settings:

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click on Safari next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Extensions.
  5. Turn off 1Password for Safari.

Is there anything in particular that makes you suspect that 1Password is the cause of the performance/heating issues?
