You are confused, because 1Password is new for you. But actually it's very easy to attach files to any existing item, no matter the category.
Edit an item and choose to add another field. In the field options, choose to "Attach a file". A dialog will open to select any file on your computer to upload.
As alternative, you also can just drag any file from Windows Explorer into the 1Password app. It will create a new "Document" item that will contain that file as attach.
