I thought you were talking about attaching (uploading) files that resides in the file system of your computer to some item in 1Password, so it is stored securely in a 1Password vault. So I (as well as MrC before) tried to explain how to do this. It's similar in spirit how you attach a file to an email.
However, it seems you're talking about something different, so I recommend you contact 1Password support to work this out.
