Stuck in sign in "Adding your account"

I did as @PerterG_1P suggested and removed 2FA from my account, that allows the Linux desktop application to do an initial sync and show the passwords. Additionally, new passwords made via the browser extension ARE GETTING synced with the desktop app while the 2FA is off.
