Currently 1Password isn't working with Floorp, Floorp is a rising star web browser recently but 1Password doesn't support Floorp, which makes it harder for 1Password users to switch from Firefox to Floorp, please consider adding Floorp.

I understand I can use the extension, but it's just annoying to not be able to use the desktop app link. having to retype my full password and not being able to use Windows Hello every browser restart is just tiresome. Hence my issues.

I'm happy that those steps worked for you and that you were able to add your .EU account to 1Password in Floorp. 🙂

Sorry for the late reply, this actually works! I haven't tried to do this in the last few months, but I don't think there was a popup as described in 7 the last time I tried to do this. Maybe I just missed it back then >.<.
Thanks for the quick reply, I really appreciate it! :)

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when adding your account to the browser extension. We're limited in how much assistance we can provide for browsers that we don't regularly test or support but I'll help as much as possible. I was able to add a .EU account to the 1Password browser extension in Floorp on my own device, try this:
- Open Floorp.
- Install the 1Password browser extension from the Mozilla add-ons store.
- Click on the 1Password icon in the browser's toolbar.
- Click Sign In on the welcome page.
- A sign-in page will open. Scroll down and change your region from .COM to .EU in the dropdown menu:
- Enter your account information and sign in.
- Click Add account to add your 1Password account to the browser extension when prompted.
- Wait a few moments until you see a notification that your account was added successfully.
Let me know if that doesn't work.

1P_Dave "You should be able to install the 1Password browser extension in Floorp but you'll need to unlock it separately from the desktop app [...]".
Sadly this is not available for customers which use a non us 1password account (e.g. eu). Every time i try to manually login the browser extension, i can only login to 1Password.com and not 1Password.eu, as switching to the EU Region will forward you to the eu domain, which the extension does not recognize as being the same login attempt/session :(. Changing the region will then just log you into the web vault but not into the actual browser extension.
Therefore, its not only cumbersome to use unsupported browsers on windows, but down right not possible if you are not using a us server account. Could this be addressed in the future? :)

I don't have any updates to share at the moment. The team still hopes to bring the ability to add unsupported browsers to 1Password for Windows but other work has needed to be prioritized for now.
You should be able to install the 1Password browser extension in Floorp but you'll need to unlock it separately from the desktop app using your account password due to a security feature that deliberately prevents the desktop app from sending your data to unknown apps that our team hasn't vetted. This security feature exists for the security and privacy of the data that you store in 1Password.
I agree that users should be able to choose which browser they use with 1Password. The ability to add trusted browsers of your own (that we haven't vetted ourselves) is currently available for 1Password on both Mac and Linux. Hopefully a similar feature is built and released for Windows in the future as well, I'll continue to pass along your feedback to the team.

I find the list of approved browsers to be very suspicious to say the least. 1Password handpicked some select browsers, recently discovered that Opera even though being older than Arc seems to have no support as well! This feels really anticonsumer to be favoritising some browsers over other and considering how little attention is given to the issue on Windows after such long time I'm disappointed. My autorenewal for 1password subscription is off and once the time runs out I'm migrating away. I'm tired of meaningless words and promises

Are there any updates for this feature, or has it been scrapped in favour of other features?
I’m very interested in this, and as this thread. shows I’m certainly not the only one ^^.
