Support for app-specific URLs like fmp from 1Password URL link fields
I had asked this previously here, but that discussion is now closed.
In a nutshell, there is no way to open a file in FileMaker Go on iPhone/iPad from 1Password with a URL that starts with fmp:// or fmp19://, etc.
It tries to open it in 1Browser and fails.
Ben had suggested tap and hold to tell it to "Open in Safari"… but I don't get that option. Only Copy and Open. If I copy it and paste that into Safari, it works… but it means I have to sacrifice whatever is currently on my clipboard, and things are a general pain.

Thanks for following up. Nothing to share just yet, and I see that Ben has shared your thoughts with the team. I wish I had a more concrete answer to give you, but for the time being the answer remains the same as he mentioned in the thread he linked.

That and I've joined on some other threads about the new way searching works. But that's another issue…
Any update on this one? It would be great if we could approve specific URL handlers, like fmp://, fmp19://, etc.

I get it, but this is super frustrating. It severely limits the usability for FileMaker developers, with fmp:// URLs.
I wonder if you could consider having a permissions list of URL protocols? Give users (or admins) the power to restrict or enable different URL schemes/handlers? Thanks for considering.

I wrote that post with our desktop app in mind, but the same concerns would also be applicable on mobile. I'm sorry it isn't the answer you were hoping for; I hope it helps you understand the reasoning behind the change.
