4 years agoSupport for Orion Browser
Please add support for the https://browser.kagi.com. It needs explicit signature verification from 1Password to work. Otherwise, it should work out of the box.

Sorry about that @scottharris1014 I totally missed your post. Thanks for the assist.

Thanks, guys. That was indeed the case. So now when I go to fill a login, I'm met with this dialog: "1Password can't verify that Orion RC should have access to your "Google (*******)" item. Do you want to fill it anyway? And I'm presented with Fill Once, Fill & Update Login, and Cancel. Fill & Update Login leads to the same problem as before. Fill Once works, but then I have to do it every time? I have another machine but I don't feel like it has this issue.
**Edit: Or maybe that's the the issue that was being originally discussed wherein Command-\ doesn't work.

Open the login that is always presented. Do you see Orion linked to that login in the details pane? If you remove that linking, assuming it is there, does the errant suggestion go away?

That likely happens b/c that site has gotten associated as an app within 1Password. I had that happen where my kagi.com password was the only password that CMD-\ filled. If you go to the login that is always coming up, you'll see Orion (or Orion RC) as an associated app. Deleting that should fix the problem.

When I invoke 1Password autofill using Command-\, it always brings up the same login which doesn't match whatever site I'm on. Not sure how it decides to pull it, but it's the same wrong login for every site. If I click the extension button in the toolbar, it correctly identifies the site and shows the correct login.

@vividluck5412 Assuming this error is on the Orion side of things, please post exact steps to reproduce it.

@csuki: Command-\ will continue to work in the non-RC build of Orion so this should not be a problem when the feature makes it to stable release.
We're also looking into a more general way to support Command-\ with any browser that you add to the list of trusted browsers.

1P_Mitch A little disappointing to hear Command+\ isn't included in this for the time being. Any timeline? It's basically the only way I invoke 1Password and since switching to Orion RC (it worked in regular Orion) it's been broken.

To add to my previous comment (https://1password.community/discussion/comment/691541/#Comment_691541), I was unable to get 1Password working on an Intel based MacBook Pro.
I tried it on a brand new install of Orion RC with the most recent 1Password nightly on an M1 based Mac and it works as expected on the handful of sites I've tried.

Just wanted to express my interest in 1password adding support for Orion. I've been trying out Orion today, and it's been wonderful so far.
