Touch ID doesn’t work on my iPad IOS 16.1.1 with Firefox. It worked with iPassword 7. ???????

Every time auto fill attempts to fill in a password I have to enter my 1Password account password. I never had to do this with 1Password 7 - once I entered it once I was always able to use Touch ID for all subsequent actions. Is this a setup problem here, or is it a 1Password “feature”? If so, can I “downgrade’ back to 7? Thank you.
