Touch ID no longer available/working in Chrome extension

In the last weeks touch ID is no longer available/working via the browser extension in Chrome on a MacBook Air, 2024. There is no option given for it, only for password entry. It was working great an...

Thanks, Dave. I did all the steps and it didn't solve the issue. Under the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" setting, the circle is yellow and it says, "Problems connecting. Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked." (The desktop app was/is unlocked.)
