Trusted Browser Support - Windows
Good Day! Is there any word on when trusted browser support will be available for the Windows version? I am using Floorp as my browser (I wanted a Firefox/Gecko based browser that supports Workspaces...

Thank you for the requests and for the feedback! The team hopes to build a secure way to use unsupported browsers with the 1Password for Windows desktop app and I'll update this thread once there's more news to share.

Hi. I would like for this to be implemented too. Windows needs it. Arc, Zen, Floorp are just a few.
Whats the priority of this? It is still being working on?
I ask because the last beta update for windows has 4 "cosmetic" bugs and 1 functionality. I'm not saying that these are not important, but it feels that this feature request got discarded.
I love 1Password, there is not a single competitor that has all of its functions, I really want that they continue improving and bring this requested feature to their clients.

Forget about it, many people have been asking for more than 2 years now. Even this thread is 2 years old.
I have given up that 1Password is actively working to keep their customers happy.
Like you said, all they recently released are minor bug fixes or cosmetic changes. Nothing mayor had been added like this feature that people are begging for years.
And the worst of it all is that they are not giving any details on when it’s coming, if it’s coming or why it’s taking so long. All Dave has to say for years now is: “Thanks for your suggestion, I will pass it onto the developers.” It’s like beating a dead horse, nothing will happen.

Thanks again for the feedback. I know that it can be frustrating when the specific feature that you'd like to see isn't released. Our team receives requests for many different features and those features are prioritized based on many different factors: our existing product roadmap, available development resources, and customer demand.
While the team does hope to release additional custom browser for Windows in the future, our Windows development team has been busy working on other enhancements for the Windows platform. Here is some recent major work that is just starting to be rolled out:
- Beta Release: New MSIX Installer for 1Password for Windows
- Beta Release: 1Password now supports Windows 11 Passkeys!
You can also find more work documented in our release notes (with more to come in the future): Release Notes-Dave

Hi 1P_Dave,
I appreciate your reply and your work. But let’s be fair here, how much more import and requested are those features really? A new installer, great but how many people benefit from that? Never had any trouble with the installer for example.
And support for Windows 11 Passkeys is nice, but again how much more important and requested is that compare to this?
And in the past change log the most things are visual changes or language fixes. And some UI changes where “the title field is now selected by default. Those are all nice to have fixes but nothing really major or requested.
With not giving this feature more priority, you are basically preventing many users to even use all the current 1Password features just because they are using one of the many good browsers which are simply not certified by 1Password. And this had been the case for many years now.
Sure localization and UI fixes are nice to have, but as long as they are not breaking the application for users they should be on the bottom of the backlog.
I really would like to know what decision making has caused this much requested feature to end up at the bottom of the backlog for years now. There must be a reason other than a new installer and Windows 11 Passkeys. Just be honest with is. Even an answer like “we are trying to add it for years now, but we can’t get it to work on Windows” is an answer. Every answer is better than the current “we will pass it on to our developers “ answer.
