Good Day! Is there any word on when trusted browser support will be available for the Windows version? I am using Floorp as my browser (I wanted a Firefox/Gecko based browser that supports Workspaces...

Thank you for the requests and for the feedback! The team hopes to build a secure way to use unsupported browsers with the 1Password for Windows desktop app and I'll update this thread once there's more news to share.

2 days agoThank you for the feedback! Our team is working on a feature to allow you to use unsupported browsers with 1Password on Windows. The feature is already available for the Mac and Linux: Connect additional browsers to the 1Password app (in case any of your family/friends use those types of device).
We hope to have more to share in the future.

If its being worked on there's a timeline. When is that feature coming live?

Thanks for the reply! We don’t share specific release timelines for upcoming features. Development can take longer than expected for a variety of reasons, and we’d rather avoid setting expectations that could lead to disappointment.
What I can share is that our team is very aware of how important this feature is for many of our customers. We’ve already invested in creating and releasing it for Mac and Linux, and we’re working on Windows support as well.

I understand Dave. But I'm in the process of reconsidering being your client. It's unusable like this.

I completely understand if this is a dealbreaker for you. Our team is actively working on this feature and we plan to include it in a future update, though I know that doesn’t help with your needs right now. We want to make sure that we get the feature right for the Windows platform, without compromising on the security protections that 1Password offers when it connects to a third-party browser.
Out of curiosity, so that I can go over the available options right now, which browser are you using? And have you already considered configuring auto-lock so that you're prompted to unlock less often when using 1Password in that browser: Manage auto-lock in the 1Password browser extension
