Trying to understand the Database new item

What exactly is the intended use for the Database new item in 1Password 8 Mac? Is it just a way to create a new custom category? Please explain. Thanks in advance.

    @dbabq

    The Database category has been in 1Password for a long time. Similar to an Email Account, it is a record type you can use if you need to store credentials to connect to various database servers. It would be primarily for technical folks.
