Two banking logins and 2FA
Hello siplhium! ๐
Thanks for reaching out. After you move your partner's logins to a separate vault, you can create a collection that only contains your vaults and excludes the vault with your partner's logins: Use collections to create custom groups of vaults
Then, set that collection to be used for AutoFill:
- Open and unlock 1Password for iOS.
- Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings. (If youโre using an iPad, tap your account or collection at the top of the sidebar.)
- Tap AutoFill.
- Change "Show filling suggestions from" to the collection that only contains your vaults.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Dave. But what if I want to have autofill suggestions from our joint vault as well? Collections, while obviously useful. just seems to add another unnecessary layer of complexity for those seeking simplicity .

I'm sorry for the delay in responding. If you'd like to have access to logins from the shared vault as well, rather than limiting AutoFill to just a collection containing your personal logins, then you can choose which login to fill by using these steps:
- Name each login item for the same website so that they have clear titles. For example: "Google Account - Person 1" and "Google Account - Person 2".
- When filling login credentials into a website or app, tap on the username or password field and then tap the ๐ key icon above the keyboard. Don't tap on the account suggestion that appears above the keyboard.
- 1Password will open. You'll see both Login items and can then tap the appropriate item to fill your login credentials.
When it comes to fill 2FA one-time passwords, you can double-tap on the field in question and then choose AutoFill > Passwords. Search for and select the correct login and then tap on the one-time password to fill it.I hope that helps.
