Thank you for the question! Once you confirm that you can see all of your items in 1Password 8 on your iPhone, you can remove the older version by following the steps in this guide: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
I would also take a moment to ensure that you've downloaded and save your Emergency Kit.
