Unable to log in to the AWS console using a 1Password passkey

I set up MFA for my root email by storing the passkey in 1Password. However, when I scan the QR code and select the passkey, nothing happens at all. I am unsure how to proceed. Has anyone else encoun...

Hello namlt! 👋

I'm sorry that you ran into an issue with 1Password when signing into AWS. I see that our developers are tracking a few issues with AWS and passkeys right now and I'd like to learn more about the issue you encountered:

  1. Can you confirm that you saved a security key as a passkey for MFA rather than sign-in? And, if you did, then did you see a "Error registering security key" message on the AWS site even if the passkey was saved successfully in 1Password?
  2. Were you able to sign in using a passkey saved in 1Password? Or did you sign in using your username/password and some other sort of MFA?
