    I've split your post into a new thread since the issue being discussed in the other thread is different. 🙂

    I'm glad that you were able to save your one-time password for two-factor authentication for your Microsoft account in 1Password. Thanks for sharing the solution that worked for you.

    I was able to solve the issue. When you get your authenticator code from MS (maybe others) for MFA you need to select "I want to use a different authenticator app". Select that and the QR code works.

    The MS Authenticator QR code by default does not work on 1pass8 and Mac M3.
