Unable to unlock 1Password in the browser using Touch ID

I had my MacBook Pro keyboard replaced, and everything is working except 1Password in Chrome. The icon has a lock on it, and when I click it, the login window flashes briefly and goes away. None of the following has fixed the issue: Restarting Chrome. Restarting the computer. Uninstalling 1Password from Chrome and reinstalling. Uninstalling 1Password from the Mac and reinstalling -- that fixed it briefly but the problem is back. I am going to have to switch to something else if I can't get this fixed. Can you help?

    I'm still working on the hardware issue; will let you know what happens once the fingerprint reader is working.

    I'm sorry that you're having trouble unlocking 1Password in the browser using Touch ID. Just to confirm: were you able to get everything working or are you still unable to unlock 1Password in the browser?

    I think the issue is with my Touch ID enrollment and not related to 1Password. You can disregard this request.
