Unlocking 1Password opens a random item to edit
This is a bit of a strange one… Whenever I open the 1Password app on my iPhone, after authenticating with Face ID, it randomly opens An item in edit mode.
The item can be a login credential or a credit card or anything else really, and it is never the last thing I’ve used.
Is this already a known issue?

Thank you for your patience. Our developers have released a fix for an issue where if you discarded a draft, it could still appear when you opened the app. If you haven't already, please update to version 8.10.34:
Let me know if you still see the issue after updating and I'll let our development team know.

I have a similar issue but it opens the same page every time.

I'm sorry that you're seeing the wrong item open when you unlock 1Password for iOS. It sounds like you might be running into a known issue with 1Password for iOS that our developers are investigating. Can you try the following steps to see if they allow you to workaround the issue:
- Tap Cancel on the item draft that appears.
- Wait 2 seconds.
- Fully close the 1Password app: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch – Apple Support (UK)
- Open and unlock the 1Password app.
- If you see another draft, repeat steps 1-4 again.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi 1P_Dave after closing and reopening the app twice the app started working as expected the third time around.
This was also the first time that it opened a secure note instead of a credential of some type, however I’m not sure if that’s covered in your bug or not
Now running 1Password for iOS 8.10.32 81032044, on BETA channel which I understand was just released recently

I removed and reinstalled the app; it seems fine now. Thanks Aspeschke

Thank you for the additional details, the steps in my previous post are the best option to workaround the issue (if it occurs again) until our development team releases a permanent fix in a future update. 🙂
