Hey there nimvio, I'm really sorry you're running into issues! That's definitely strange behavior. Myself and a couple colleagues had a run at reproducing this but came up empty - we tried setting Safari as our main browser, ensuring we had the
1Password in Safari
extension installed and enabled, and rebooted our devices to try and get 1Password to open Safari on boot, or when we launched 1Password and signed in, but so far we haven't been able to reproduce the same issue as you.Could you grab a diagnostics report from 1Password and share the contents with me? That should help me take a look behind the scenes and see if we can sort out if 1Password is playing a role. Here's how to grab a diagnostics report from 1Password 8:
1. Open up the 1Password app, click your account name in the top-left corner of the app, and click Settings from the dropdown menu.
2. Switch to the Advanced page, and click Send Diagnostics.
3. Click Reveal to show the diagnostics report in the filesystem. Copy that file, and attach it to your next reply.Once you've got that diagnostics report handy, could you send it in an email to
support+mac@1password.com
, along with a link to this forum post and my username? After you email in, you should receive a Conversation ID that looks like this: [#ABC-12345-678]. Please paste that here, and I'll use it to track your email down from my end.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting this sorted for you!
