Community ManagerHi Former Member, thanks for writing in. I'm sorry to hear there's been an issue updating 1Password as a standard user.
I'd like to ask you to try updating 1Password as a standard user with any browsers where you're using the 1Password extension completely closed. If you're still running into an issue, could you check through our update troubleshooting guides to see if any of the suggestions help:
- If you're seeing “1Password was unable to complete installation and will roll back any changes”
- If you're seeing “1Password couldn’t complete its update”
