Upgraded to 8, no longer have option to keep browser extension unlocked

I need help. I opt to keep my browser extension unlocked but after upgrading to 8, I'm unable to. When I look in the browser app, it tells me to go to the security tab of the win...

Unfortunately, I'm unable to do this as the advanced tab is another tab that does not show any info in the right pane. Is there another way to perform the diagnostic or is there something else I can do? Would uninstalling the application and just using the browser extension get my ability to use preferences back?
